Hike and Bike Japan's base of operation, the small rural village of Otari, is a culturally-rich and naturally-blessed area that we take pride in having the ability to guide and share with people from all over. Throughout our site, we have made efforts to showcase the beauty that exists locally through the photographs we've personally shot over the last several years, but it can be hard to condense the full picture into, well, a picture...
Luckily, the village-run Tourism Bureau has put together a wonderful new promotional video that does a fantastic job of highlighting the diversity and scale of cultural and outdoor opportunities on hand during the spring, summer and fall "green season." We hope you give it a moment of your time, and if you have any questions or comments about anything you've seen - we would love to hear from you. We are still in the process of expanding our tour offerings, so you may see some things in the video that you may not find yet on our site, but we hope to change that in the coming weeks and months. It is also possible for us to work with you directly to create fully-customized trip itineraries based in the Otari area.
