SEASONAL TOURS

IN JAPAN

"EACH MOMENT OF THE YEAR HAS ITS OWN BEAUTY."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every season in Japan offers unique beauty & opportunities.

There is no "best time" to visit Japan, as the four distinct seasons reward visitors with their own special festivals, foods, activities and ever changing landscapes.

Japan truly has so much to offer as a year round destination. Perhaps more than anywhere else in the world, a deep-rooted appreciation for the passage of time is ingrained into the culture and evident by the shifts in cuisine and the frequency of ceremonies and events tied to the changing of the seasons. There is plenty to celebrate, as Japan's climate and geography combine to produce extreme, almost exaggerated transformations across the landscape.

There is no bad time to visit Japan, but what you can see and do, and where you should go does change drastically along with the seasons. Below are the season-specific hiking, workshop, activity and festival tours we have coming up in the near future. We plan on steadily adding tours to our site in 2020, so have a look now, but be sure to check back regularly as well. Finally, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask; we are here to help you got the most out of your trip to Japan (and we know that successful trips start long before the day of departure.)
